This Contract involves the proposed Cooksville Stormwater Management Facility #3604 - Sandalwood Park located on Nahani Way in Mississauga. Major items included in the construction contract, removal and disposal of existing park structures; removal and disposal of the existing on-site storm sewer system; earthworks, grading and off-site stockpiling to achieve the design grades and final dimensions and configurations of the proposed SWM facility; disposal of excess fill material; modification of the existing storm sewer to tie in the proposed SWM facility; installation of storm sewers, catch basins, ditch inlet catch basins, manholes, and manhole tees, installation of storage chambers, manifolds, and stub connectors; installation of stone bedding and cover for chambers, manifolds and connector stubs, dewatering, erosion and sedimentation control and tree protection; and construction of a new park including multi-use asphalt path, a soccer field, a playground facility, electrical site servicing and panel replacement, and landscape structures (benches, tree planting, waste receptacles, etc.).
