Description: 

The City of Mississauga (the “City”) invites Proposals from qualified architectural firms to provide complete consulting services for the design and implementation of The Renovation of the Adamson Estate Main House and Site, located at 850 Enola Ave, Mississauga ON.

Through the process described in this RFP, the City will select a qualified architectural firm to act as the Prime Consultant, having total responsibility for all necessary sub-consulting services, including but not being limited to engineering disciplines, building envelope design, building code expertise, accessibility design, and cost estimating, to provide full consulting services to plan, coordinate, design, produce contract documents, implement and administer the construction contract for the redevelopment of The Renovation of the Adamson Estate Main House and Site (the “project”). 

The Adamson Estate is designated under the Ontario Heritage Act.

The proposed project team must, as a minimum include the consulting disciplines listed as follows: 

  • Architect (Prime Consultant)
  • Heritage Consultant
  • Structural Engineer
  • Civil Engineer
  • Electrical Engineer

The consultant is to provide consulting services throughout the full project cycle including the following phases: 

  1. Pre-Design
  2. Schematic Design
  3. Design Development
  4. Construction Documents
  5. Bidding/Negotiating
  6. Construction Contract Administration
  7. Post-Construction

The Ontario Association of Architects Standard Form of Contract for Architect’s Services, Document 600, 2013 with City of Mississauga Supplementary Conditions will be used.

To obtain an unsecured version of the bid document and/or to participate in this opportunity, an annual or a per bid fee must be paid (annual fee - $418.95, per bid fee - $125.75).
