The City of Mississauga requires a Supplier for on‑demand fencing services to support the maintenance, repair, removal, and installation of fencing assets across various locations throughout the City. These services are required to ensure the continued safety, functionality, and accessibility of public spaces and municipal facilities. The Contract is expected to be for an initial one (1) year terms with possible extension years thereafter.

The Contract will support a range of fencing work orders issued on an as‑needed basis over the term of the Contract. Work requests may include both planned and unplanned activities, including occasional urgent repairs required to address safety concerns or unforeseen damage.

Fencing assets covered under this Contract will be in areas that include, but are not limited to sports fields (e.g., soccer fields, baseball diamonds and backstops, tennis courts), City-owned boulevards, park land woodlots, cemeteries, as well as property surrounding or associated with municipal facilities including fire halls and community centres. Fencing systems may consist of galvanized steel or black vinyl chain link configurations.

A 10% Construction Act holdback will apply to invoicing for new installations; a 2.5% Warranty Holdback will apply to all invoices submitted.
