The Contract involves the construction of creek bank erosion control measures and stabilization along one section of Cooksville Creek, the extent of which is approximately 200m, immediately upstream of Central Parkway East. The work generally consists of the construction of revised channel cross section, with channel lining, terracing of creek banks, and installation and rebuilding of armour stone retaining walls/outfalls where required.  Excavating, backfilling, rock placement, channel bypass and dewatering, installation of bioengineered structures, grading, and landscaping are an integral part of the work.
