Without limiting the project scope, which is described in detail in the Contract Documents, the Work involves:

The replacement or installation of Heating Boilers, Hydronic Pumps and Associated Piping, Heat Exchanges, other Mechanical Systems, Electrical, BAS and Structural works in occupied buildings.

Timing of Equipment Replacement during Heating and Cooling seasons:

  • Heating and Cooling Equipment and Systems must remain operational during their respective seasons of  the year:
    • Heating Equipment (Boilers, Heating Pumps, Heating Heat Exchanger and Associated Systems) must be available and operational between September and April (example, Work on these systems to happen in the summer months).
       
    • Cooling Equipment (Chiller, CHW/CDW Pumps, Cooling Heat Exchanger and Associated Systems) must be available and operational between May and August (example, Work on these systems to happen in the winter months).
