The Corporation of the City of Mississauga (the “City”) invites Bids from qualified Bidders to provide Project Management Training to numerous City staff.  The training will consist of a variety of training methods that will raise the overall level of project management skills and competencies of City staff corporate-wide.  The successful Bidder shall provide highly engaged instructors who will deliver content that is relevant to the municipal government and the City’s diverse workforce. 

 Bidder requirements include:

• Demonstrated understanding of the City’s needs in terms of the wide range of services the City provides and different types of projects the City delivers, including major projects such as Construction, Business Transformation and Information Technology, and various strategic plans, etc.
• Demonstrated knowledge of providing Project Management training for local governments, in particular working with municipalities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and changing priorities.
• Instructors are knowledgeable about the subject matter, and are clear, lively, engaging and compelling and able to provide a variety of styles to suit a variety of audiences
• Instructors are passionate about providing excellent learning experience for City staff.
• An excellent customer service focus.

The City reserves the right to revise/update, add or delete courses and/or training during the contract period based on the City’s changing requirements and availability of newer technology, training methods, media options and practices as they become available. 

Non-exclusivity: This is a non-exclusive contract where the City reserves the right to use its own resources or other providers for project management related courses, training, products and services.

The Contract will be for a two (2) year term with the option to extend the contract, at the sole discretion of the City, for up to an additional three (3) year term under the same terms, conditions and price.

Budget:  Approximately $180,000.00 (taxes excluded) for the initial two (2) year term.
