The City of Mississauga (City) is seeking proposals from qualified Bidders to participate in a Request for Proposal (RFP), for the supply and delivery of a Long  Service Recognition and Retirement Gift Program to meet the City’s needs for the next three (3) years. The City rewards its employees by having a Long Service Recognition and Retirement Gift Program in place and provides gifts to employees based on their years of service with the City and at retirement.  The City also has established Award Values that is aligned with the Years of Service. The vendor will provide multiple gift options for each level of service and within the Award Values identified in the table below.  For example, at ten (10) years of service, the vendor will provide multiple gift options for the employee to choose that are offered within the fifty dollar ($50.00) range.  The Award Values stated are inclusive and include all labor, materials, equipment, and administration costs for the supply and delivery of gifts to various locations within the City of Mississauga.   The City will not accept any additional charges.

The intent of this RFP (Request for Proposal) is to award to a qualified Vendor with the ability to provide modern, technologically friendly and interactive recognition platforms that will allow the City to deliver current recognition programs and expand into the new avenues for recognition.  The City’s recognition programs are currently under review and will require modern recognition options including technology related to communication, data transfers and gift options.
