The Corporation of City of Mississauga is seeking proposals from qualified architectural or sustainability consulting firms to update its Corporate Green Building Standard (CGBS), originally adopted in 2019. This standard, which guides sustainable design for new construction and major renovations of City buildings, is due for revision to reflect current industry practices, technologies, and construction costs. With performance-based requirements across 13 key sustainability areas, the update aims to ensure continued alignment with climate goals, regulatory frameworks, and practical implementation strategies as the City transitions from Level 1 to Level 2 of the standard. Led by the Prime Consultant, the consultant team shall provide consulting services as one coordinated and integrated service. Coordination with the City shall be through the City’s Contract Manager.
