| Description: |
The purpose of this Request for Tender (“RFT”) is to obtain bids for construction services for all components necessary to provide playground equipment installation and park improvements at various City parks. Work will include improvements to site grading, drainage, playground safety safety surfacing (engineered wood fibre and synthetic rubber), trail reconstruction, paving, site furniture, park shelter, play equipment and sod. The City has already chosen, through a competitive process, the equipment suppliers for the ten (10) parks. The Contractor will contract directly with the equipment suppliers to supply and install the selected play systems at each park. The Contractor will pay for the supply and installation of the play systems by means of a cash allowance. |
