Work involves the supply and installation of all components necessary to install:

• Disconnection, removal from site, and disposal of the existing Sand Filter systems, including all filter accessories, piping, and face piping systems (if applicable);
• Supply and installation of a new Neptune Benson Defender filter system for both the Pool and Spa, including vacuum transfer systems, air compressors, control panels, lifting davits, and any additional piping, valves, and controls to create two complete, operable, and integrated filter systems;
• Connection of new filter systems to existing influent, effluent, and drain piping. Some adjustments to the existing piping and valves will be required and are to be site coordinated. These adjustments are the responsibility of the pool contractor;
• Connection/commissioning of existing systems to new filter controller;
• Commissioning of new filter system, complete with integration with the existing facility equipment;
• Supply and installation of new recirculation piping, fitting, valves, and gauges, as required to connect the new filter and precoat system to the existing recirculation system;
• Contractor to include for Convergint (BAS vendor) to integrate new pool filter system into existing BAS controls including the VFDS controls;
• Inspect all existing valves on Pool and Spa mechanical recirculation systems and replace all faulty valves. Please provide a valve fee schedule within base bid.

Contractor is advised that the building, except for the areas affected by the Work, will remain open to the public during the course of the project for normal building operations. Contractor shall coordinate all work with the City prior to any work being performed.
