Description: |
The City of Mississauga (the “City”) owns and operates a portfolio of over 350 buildings of various age, size, function and type. In order to maintain this portfolio of buildings and keep them in a state of good repair, the Facilities & Property Management Division implements and delivers a multi-million annual capital program of life cycle renewal and improvement projects.
The City intends to create a roster to retain the services of consulting firms for architectural and professional engineering consulting assignments, on an ‘as-and-when-requested’ basis. The City will retain stewardship of and complete authority over the capital program and project assignments and will define specific terms and conditions for specific project assignments to ensure that stewardship is not compromised. This will require the successful roster firms to observe and comply with City policies, procedures and regulations. The City will designate authorized internal personnel to oversee each project assignment. These personnel will retain authority for the project assignment and will have appropriate delegated authority at various stages in the execution of the project. |
