The City invites bids from qualified landscape and architectural or multi-disciplinary consulting firms with a team lead by a landscape archietect to provide complete consulting services for the design and implementation of the spray pad and parks improvements , located at four (4) park sites. Through the process described in this RFP, the City will select a qualified architectural firm to act as the prime consultant, having total responsibility for all necessary sub-consulting services, including but not being limited to engineering disciplines, building envelope design, building code expertise, interior design, furniture selection, space planning, accessibility design, landscape design, cost estimating, to provide full consulting services to plan, coordinate, design, produce contract documents, implement and administer the construction contract for the redevelopment of the project. The Consultant will be required to complete all required site background studies, concept design, detailed design, approvals, permits and construction administration for developing four (4) park sites: Ron Lenyk Springfield (P-025), Woodington Green (P-180), Kingsbridge Common (P-195), Ridgewood (P-013).

Ridgewood (P-013) is located at 7239 Cambrett Drive. At this location there are the following amenities to remain: A current topographic survey, and sub surface untility engineering investigation (B/C/D) for each site (available in .pdf and .dgn formats), will be made available to the successful Proponent upon award, for reference and use. It is the Consultant’s responsibility to satisfy themselves that all relevant data and information provided is correct and determine if additional and/or supplementary information is required. The anticipated construction cost is approximately $1.7 Million (excl. net HST). The construction cost includes the cash allowance and contingency, but excludes all soft costs such as permit fees, consulting fees, FF&E, HST etc. The construction will be implemented using the CCDC 2-2008 Stipulated Price Contract, with City Amendments. Construction is expected to start April 1, 2026 and to be completed by May 3, 2027. Bidders shall refer to Appendix C – Statement of Work and Appendix E – Consulting Services for details.
