The Corporation of the City of Mississauga (the “City”) invites Bids from qualified consultants to undertake a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (‘EA’) and to prepare detailed engineering design and associated construction drawings for a stormwater pumping station located in the Lisgar District. Brief Scope of Work The Class EA will confirm whether additional pumping station(s) are required. On the presumption of proceeding, the EA will determine the number, preferred location(s) and type(s) of pumping station(s) within the Lisgar District to reduce the potential for basement water infiltration. The Consultant will be responsible for preparing the detailed engineering design and associated construction drawings for the highest priority pumping station as identified through the Class EA. Bidders should take note that the fact that the design is included does not presuppose that it is proceeding. The main goal of the project is to reduce the potential for basement water infiltration in the Lisgar District. The scope of the project includes:
