The City of Mississauga's culture division is responsible for organizing and hosting events at Celebration Square (the "Square) located in the City's downtown core.  

The City is seeking a qualified and experienced cleaning company to provide outdoor cleaning and litter picking services during and following special events held at the Square.  The successful bidder must supply supervision and all labour, equipment and supplies to fulfill contract requirements. It is the City's intent to award a contract for a two year term.

Qualified Bidders are those that have:

• Been in the business of providing cleaning services under the same company name for a minimum of the last three (3) consecutive years;
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience servicing contracts of comparable size, scope and complexity to that described in this document;
• Experience cleaning a minimum of one large outdoor event (more than 10,000 attendees) successfully for a municipality or public agency in the last three (3) years;
• Experience cleaning a minimum of two other large outdoor venues or parks during large multi-day events (more than 10,000 attendees) within the last three (3) years;
• Policies in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act, including but not limited to Workplace Harassment and Workplace Violence;
• Sufficient equipment (see SOW) and  Supplies;
• Dedicated office staff to properly administer the Contract;
• Experienced cleaning staff to properly service the Contract.
