The purpose of this Request for Tender (RFT) is to procure for the Corporation of the City of Mississauga, the Construction of a new park called “Marina Park” south of Lakeshore Road along the west banks of the Credit River in  Port Credit.  Without limiting the project scope, which is described in detail in the Contract Documents, the work includes: precast electrical servicing building, granular fill, (2) parking lots, storm water management, bioswale, protection of existing infrastructure, (2) permanent structures, adjustment of existing pedestrian bridge, concrete foundations, possibly helical piles, floating boat docks/ramps and secure entry gates/fencing, topsoil, planting, grading, compaction testing, temporary construction hoarding. 

Bidders must be able to demonstrate: 

• They have been in business under the same name for a minimum of the last five (5) years;
• They have successfully completed a minimum of four projects (minimum of two being municipal or public agency parks) of similar size, scope and complexity to that described in the Specifications in the last five (5) years; 
• Key personnel and project managers must have a minimum of five (5) years' experience in municipal park development, managing projects of similar size, scope and complexity to that described in the Specifications;
• Dedicated administrative personnel to properly administer the Contract, including, but not limited to accurate invoicing and timely payments to Subcontractors and/or suppliers;
• They have a health and safety program in place; 
• They are bondable, i.e. have the ability to obtain 50% Performance Bond and 50% Material and Labour Payment Bond.
