The Corporation of the City of Mississauga (the “City”) invites Bids from qualified Bidders to provide on-demand 24-hour towing, vehicle relocation, disposal services, and secure vehicle storage facilities for vehicles seized and removed as required by the City's Enforcement Division, Parking Enforcement Section for a five (5) year period, with the possibility of a two (2) year renewal. Details of the services required from the successful bidders are provided in the Statement of Work and the Towing Services Agreement. Refer to both documents for a complete understanding of the contractual terms that the City is seeking to enter into with the successful bidders. The goal of this procurement process is to award contracts to eleven (11) Licensed Tow Operators (3-4 per tow area). Brief Scope of Work The City will select eleven (11) Licensed Tow Operators to provide all towing services (including heavy vehicles) in each the following geographic areas. For further clarity, that means 3-4 operators per tow area, for a total of 11 providers.
Bidders must clearly indicate in the submission portal on the Website, the tow area(s) for which they are submitting Bid(s).
All Bidders must meet all City licensing requirements, pass the evaluation conducted by the evaluation team, and if selected as the successful Bidder(s), demonstrate that they have the appropriate equipment, facilities, service levels and ability to provide ongoing service and support as needed by the City for the duration of the contract. |
