The City of Mississauga is seeking to establish an Elevator Communication Design Standard to identify a single, non-proprietary elevator safety communication solution in response to the ASME A17.1/B44:2019 Safety Code for elevators in Ontario, In addition to regulatory requirements, the City has mandatory requirements for the elevator communication solution, specific to the nature of the City’s business, operations and size of its building portfolio that the supplier shall meet. |
