This Request for Proposal ("the "RFP") is an invitation by the Corporation of the City of Mississauga (the "City") to prospective bidders to submit bids for Insurance and Broker Services in accordance with RFP documents. The City is seeking professional services from a licensed insurance broker, Managing General Agent (“MGA”) or other provider of municipal insurance with extensive experience and expertise in delivering insurance and broker services in the municipal/public sector. Expertise in securing quality, relevant insurance coverages at competitive terms, as well as the delivery of risk management and loss prevention services will complement the City’s on-going risk management efforts. MGA and other providers are required to partner with a licensed broker of their choice. Bidders must meet mandatory technical requirements stated in Appendix A- RFP Particulars, Section '4.0 Mandatory Technical Requirements'. For more details, refer to: Appendix A - RFP Particulars, and Appendix C-Statement of Work.
***IMPORTANT: Bidders to Request the City's Insurance Policy Summary*** Bidders interested in submitting a proposal in response to this RFP may request a copy of the City's Insurance Policy Summary by emailing raj.atwal@mississauga.ca. The request must include a valid email address for correspondence and receiving insurance information. The Insurance Policy Summary is confidential. Upon receipt of a request, the City will issue a Non-Disclosure Agreement ("NDA") through DocuSign. The NDA must be completed, signed, and returned before the Insurance Policy Summary will be provided. A sample NDA is provided in Appendix G for reference. The Insurance Policy Summary contains sensitive and confidential information. Bidders shall not disclose its contents to any person or organization except employees and subcontractors who require the information solely for the preparation of the bidder’s proposal in this RFP process, in accordance with the NDA. The City reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to approve or deny any request for access to the Insurance Policy Summary. |
