The City of Mississauga’s Recreation Division is responsible for organizing events at Celebration Square. Celebration Square is a 6.6 acre open air event venue and park that hosts a diverse schedule of events year-round, such as festivals and programs. It is Mississauga’s premier outdoor event venue.

The project involves replacing the digital infrastructure and components of the Celebration Square’s digital program screens and ribbon screens. The existing structures will remain and new Mitsubishi LED panels and mounting systems will be installed. The original Mitsubishi screens were installed in 2010 and this project is a retrofit rather than a new installation. Upgrading to the newer 8mm product for all screens carries the advantage of being interchangeable and allows the cross compatibility with other locations such as the Living Arts Centre.

The objective of this RFT is to select an authorized Mitsubishi Supplier that can design, build deliver and install replacement screens in accordance with the City’s Specifications and who can demonstrate the appropriate skills, experience and ability to provide ongoing service and support, as needed, by the City.  In addition, the Supplier will be required to provide annual maintenance, including parts and labour.
