Mississauga Transit (“MiWay”) is a Division in the City’s Transportation and Works Department. MiWay is responsible for on-street bus operations and ongoing maintenance with an annual ridership of 40 million riders. MiWay’s fleet consists of approximately 500 buses.
This RFT is for supply, delivery and install maximum Driver Protection System (DPS) on about 292 buses, some with Camera (following 4 phases) in accordance with the City’s requirements and Scope of Work.

Phase 1: First phase product delivery date(s) shall not be later than Dec 31st 2024. First phase installation shall start no later than Jan 1, 2025 and complete by March 15, 2025 the latest.
Phase 2: DPS shall be delivered and installed before May 30th 2025.
Phase 3: DPS shall be delivered and installed before May 30th 2025.
Phase 4: DPS shall be delivered and installed before May 30th 2025.
