The Corporation of the City of Mississauga (“the City”) is seeking to procure General Contractor Services for the Demolition and Replacement of Manual Book Drops with RFID Book Drops at sixteen (16) City library locations. The Contractor shall provide the following high-level deliverables as part of this contract:
• Safely remove and dispose of existing manual book drops, including enclosures, mounting hardware, reinstating and make good the affected areas in accordance with the Contract Documents.
• Install new RFID-enabled - city provided book drops in accordance with the consultant-prepared Specifications and Drawings & machine’s manufacture manual. Add a note of qualification and refer to Appendix G for definition • Ensure all installed units' infrastructure complies with applicable codes, in accordance with the Contract Documents.
• Perform all required electrical and data work to support the new installations, in accordance with the Contract Documents.
• Coordinate access and work schedules with the CoM PM & stakeholders to minimize disruption to library operations. • Provide all labour, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents More detailed information can be found in Appendix C – SOW and Appendix E & F – Drawings and Technical specifications documents |
