The City is seeking construction services for the Redevelopment of Paul Coffey Park – Phase One. The work includes: site servicing (storm, sanitary, electrical), parking lots, roads, trails, paving, playgrounds, spray pad, washroom building, shade structures, pedestrian bridges, cricket field, irrigation, memorial garden, picnic area, park signage, site furnishings, and planting. Construction substantial completion date will be June 2025. 

Bidders must be able to demonstrate:

• They are readily available to undertake Contract requirements;
• They are COR™ certified; 
• They are a general contractor having been operating under the same name for at least the last five (5) years;
• Key personnel and on-site supervisor have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in municipal park development and improvement; 
• They have successfully completed a minimum of three projects of similar size, scope and complexity to that described in the Specifications and Drawings in the last ten (10) years; 
• Minimum volume of annual construction sales of no less than $10,000,000, averaged over the last four (4) years;
• They have a health and safety program in place; 
• They are bondable, i.e. have the ability to obtain 50% Performance Bond and 50% Material and Labour Payment Bond (evidenced by an Agreement to Bond).

The Bidder must acknowledge they have not been charged with a violation of the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) or Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA), have not been in default of contract requiring surety involvement, and are not in bankruptcy proceedings.
