The Corporation of the City of Mississauga (the “City”) invites Bids from qualified consultants to participate in a Request for Negotiated Proposal (RFNP), for the supply, delivery and implementation of an a Election Equipment, Software and Professional Services Solution for the City, including professional services, software licenses, maintenance & support, installation & configuration, training, testing and documentation to meet the City’s needs for the next eight (8) years.  The City intends to establish the solution procured through this competitive process as a City Standard. 

The proposed solution shall meet the city’s mandatory requirements listed below in order to qualify for evaluation: 

1. Ability for City staff to execute municipal election events utilizing approved voting methods which may include the use of tabulation devices, vote-by mail, ballot on-demand, accessible ballot marking devices and/or online voting.
2. Ability for election equipment and result accumulation software to be configurable to support the City's Advance Poll and Election Day voting specifications.
3. Ability for election results to be transmitted efficiently and securely to support result accumulation and reporting.
4. Ability to generate complete, accurate and timely election results within the specified reporting formats.
5. The software and its related data shall be stored in Canada.
6. All equipment, peripherals, accessories and consumables are provided in the quantities required.

Qualified proponents are those who have proven experience in supplying and deploying election equipment, software and professional services solutions to municipalities of similar size.
