| Description: |
The City invites bids from a qualified consulting firms to provide complete consulting services for the the pavilion and music Walk of Fame improvements at Port Credit Memorial Park, located at 40 Lakeshore Rd E, Mississauga ON. The Pavilion requires modifications to optimise performance and stage-viewing for its annual events. It is expected that the pavilion roof will need the roof to be raised. Additionally, the Mississauga Music Walk of Fame is being expanded beyond the existing location to accommodate new “star tablets” and increase induction capacity. This will require a new vision for the existing Walk of Fame and exploring alternative display options, which will be coordinated with MMWOF Committee Members. (add additional information about the flag area as a potential expansion location.) All work will include coordination with the existing programming of the park, site integration and servicing. Bidders shall refer to Appendix F – Consulting Services for details. The anticipated construction cost is approximately $700,000 (excluding consulting fees, permits fees and applicable taxes). The construction will be implemented using the CCDC 2-2008 Stipulated Price Contract, with City Amendments. The anticipated construction start date is June 2025 (pending coordination with planned events at the park over the summer) with a substantial performance in December 2025. |
