The Corporation of the City of Mississauga (“the City”) is seeking to procure General Contractor Services for the Small Arms Inspection Building South Building Roof Renewal located at 1352 Lakeshore Road East, Mississauga, ON, L5E 1E9. Without limiting the project scope, which is described in detail in the Contract Documents, the purpose of this project is to replace the existing low slope built up roof system at the Small Arms Inspection Building South Building with a new 4-ply built up roof system with new roof drains, new tapered insulation, a new perimeter curb, new flashing, new gutter, new water leaders, select areas of wood decking replacement (account for 5% of roof area) and new concrete pavers in order to improve the function and performance of the roof. In addition to the roof renewal, a new bio-swale route at the site’s west lawn will be required to capture and direct roof storm run-off from the new roof drainage system. More details information will be included in Appendix C Specifications/Statement of Work. |
