The City of Mississauga (the “City) is requesting bids for the Supply and Delivery of Transmission and Engine Oil to be used by MiWay Transit, Automotive Stores (Fleet Services) and Fire and Emergency Services for a period of one (1) year plus provisional one (1) year extension starting approximate July 1, 2020. 

All Bidders are invited to bid on either Section ‘A’ – Automotive Stores, Section ‘B’ – Fire and Emergency Services and Section ‘C’ – MiWay Transit or bid on all three. 

The City reserves the right to split this contract by item or to award the contract in whole, in order to achieve the lowest overall cost to the City.  The City reserves the right to cancel the procurement at any time prior to the award of any contract. The City reserves the right to buy the quantity or quantities it requires with no guarantee of volume purchased. All products/specifications approved and accepted by the City must remain consistent throughout the duration of the contract. The City will not accept any minimum order requirements from the successful Bidder. 

Bidders under consideration for contract award will be required to provide a copy of their API license. 

Bidders must be able to demonstrate that they are fully authorized to represent the items, that they have the appropriate experience to service an account the size and complexity as the City’s, and that they are established and organized in a manner that ensures that they will be able to continue to meet the City’s needs over time.
