Description: 

The City invites bids from qualified consulting firms to provide consulting services for community engagement of climate change action plan update, for the City of Mississauga.

Below is a high-level overview of the Deliverables.

Conduct pre-consultation with representative groups to determine the various interests and preferred method(s) of engagement Summary of groups consulted, with their interests and preferred methods of engagement identified
In collaboration with City staff and the successful proponent for the Climate Change Plan Update, plan, design, and execute the community engagement plan (e.g., describe the type, number & methods of engagement for key community groups; describe the focus of each engagement for those groups, roles and responsibilities, and associated costs; identify key performance indicators) Community engagement plan, community engagement
Consolidate, analyze, and report findings from each phase of community engagementSummary of each community engagement, engagement report for inclusion in Plan Update
Generate content for public communications Content for social media posts, flyers, and other communications
Prepare update presentations for two internal core team meetings, as well as a template presentation for meetings with various communities and community membersPresentations

Budget 

The total budget for this project, is estimated at eighty thousand dollars (CDN $80,000), excluding HST. This amount is anticipated to address the deliverables and the scope of the project as outlined in the Request for Proposal.
