The City invites bids from qualified firms to provide complete consulting services for the design and constructions of Grand Highland Park , located 376 Bardondale Drive Mississauga ON. The 28-acre site of the former Grand Highland Golf Course is being transformed into a new public park. Given the historical significance of the site to Indigenous Communities, as well as the environmental history as a former flyash landfill, the successful park design will balance the cultural and environmental history with the needs of the community to create a distinctive park for the City of Mississauga. The construction will be implemented using the CCDC 2-2008 Stipulated Price Contract, with City Amendments. A total construction budget of $5,900,000 has been allocated for the construction of the park (excluding consulting fees, permits fees and applicable taxes). The funding is subject to approval through the City’s Capital Budget Process in 2025. The construction start date should be in September 2026 with a substantial performance in December 2026. |
