Description: 

The City of Mississauga is looking to hire two (2) Contractors for Roadway Maintenance & Miscellaneous Emergency Works.  The contract is on a Time and Material basis, and shall include the supply of all labour, equipment and materials necessary to perform maintenance repairs on various types of infrastructure. Typical construction projects and/or repairs include, but are not limited to:

  • Asphalt roadway and boulevards
  • Concrete curb and sidewalk
  • Catch basin and maintenance holes
  • Storm Sewers 
  • Chain link and wood fences
  • Steel beam guide rail
  • Retaining walls (pre-cast blocks)
  • Inlet and outlet cleaning at storm water management ponds and other storm drainage assets.
  • Culverts, headwalls and ditches
  • Concrete structure delamination
  • Sod
