Description: |
The City invites bids from qualified firms to provide complete consulting services for the design and implementation of five new parks located at 70 Mississauga Road, Mississauga ON. After three decades of vacancy, the 72-acre site of the former Imperial Oil lands are being revitalized and transformed into a new lakefront housing subdivision community. Positioned west of downtown Port Credit and nestled between two neighbourhoods, the site will be a significant contribution to the existing residential and retail community. Five public parks with a total site area of 18.3 Acres have been designated though the subdivision process in what is now known as Brightwater development. The Construction of the Parks will be phased to align with the occupancy of the development. The construction of the five parks will tentatively span from 2026 to 2033. The prime consultant must be a multi-disciplinary firm led by a landscape architect or a landscape architectural firm with similar project experience to that described in the RFP documents.
