This Request for Proposal (the "RFP") is an invitation by The City of Mississauga (“the City”) to perspective Bidders to submit bids for Actuarial Benefit Review Services. The Supplier's responsibilities will consist of calculating employee benefits-related liabilities for the following benefits, including proposed rate premium recommendations by business area for each benefit type: 1. Workplace Safety Insurance Board (WSIB) liabilities 2. Non-pension early retirement benefit liabilities (RB) 3. Post employment benefit liabilities (PE) 4. Accumulated sick leave benefit liabilities (SL) 5. Long-term Disability liabilities (LTD) Refer to Appendix C - Statement of Work for more project details. The term of the contract is three (3) years from on or around August 15, 2026 to August 14, 2029, and will cover the full assessment for the year ending December 31, 2026, and extrapolations for the two years ending December 31, 2027 and 2028. The contract may be extended at the sole discretion of the City for an additional up to three (3) years under the same terms and conditions, and successful price negotiations of both parties. Unit Price shall be all inclusive (HST extra) and remain firm for the initial three (3) year contract term. The contract will include the original assessment and any minor liability refreshes in subsequent years required for benefit changes. The City will not accept additional fees for minor liability or assumption updates. Subcontractors/Subconsultants are not allowed on this contract. |
