| Description: |
The Corporation of the City of Mississauga (the “City”) has engaged the Supplier to undertake this project to implement an event management software to manage most of the steps in the event management process. This would assist the City to standardize and streamline business processes and develop efficiencies across the City’s event management business units. The intent is for the City of Mississauga to enter into a long relationship with the Supplier, with the immediate contract being for up to five (5) years with an option to extend for an additional up to five (5) years. Currently, the City uses a wide variety of tools to manage each step in the event management process. The City uses ActiveNet for issuing rental contracts, event reconciliation, and final invoicing. Ticketmaster for event ticketing. To complete all other necessary tasks, City staff use many other tools, including shared drives, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, SurveyMonkey Apply, and custom-made Content Management System. City staff must manually manage tasks and shift between multiple systems when managing an event. The City is looking to replace all these other tools, except ActiveNet and Ticketmaster, with a single event management software. This project includes supply, installation, configuration, subscription, maintenance & support, licensing, professional services, integration, and ongoing annual operational costs. The supplier should provide fixed term pricing for each of the optional years. |
