The City of Mississauga requires multiple Suppliers for City-wide landscape maintenance services.  The Contract is anticipated to be for a three (3)  year duration with the possibility of extension for up to two (2) additional one-year terms. 

Scheduled maintenance will include turf and horticulture features within road allowances throughout the City. There are approximately 17 hectares of turf to maintain City-wide, along with approximately 36,000 m² of horticulture features spread across the City. In addition, other services may be required of the successful bidder(s), including but not limited to, mulching, watering, soil and seed, litter removal, vegetation clearing, supply and installation of plant material, and hardscaping repair. 

Unscheduled maintenance work will be assigned as required and at the discretion of the City’s Contract Manager.  This Work will be limited by the City’s budget, and therefore there is no guarantee that successful bidders will receive any assignments or any volume of Work from the City during the term of the Contract. 

It is the City’s intent to award this Contract based on available budget to up to a maximum of four (4) Suppliers. If this Contract is split, the lowest acceptable bidder will receive the largest portion of the allocated contract budget, based on the price difference between the lowest acceptable bids.
