| Description: |
The City of Mississauga’s (the “City”) Compliance and Licensing Enforcement department responds to service requests related to by-laws and regulations from the public, City staff, and Council. These by-laws include the Business Licensing By-law (0001-2006), Debris and Anti Littering By-law (0219-1985), Encroachment By-law (0057-2004), Highway Obstruction By-law (0357-2010), Municipal Address By-law (0030-2011), Nuisance Weed and Tall Grass Control By-Law (0125-2017), the Property Standards By-law (0654-1998) and Swimming Pool Enclosure By-law (0191-2011). These regulations grant the City authority to require property owners, including but not limited to residential, employment and commercial properties, to comply with the applicable by-law standards; failure to do so, permits the City to arrange for the necessary maintenance or services required to bring the property into compliance and charge back the property owner(s) for the associated costs. The City is seeking a qualified Supplier to provide various building and property clean-up, maintenance and repair services at various locations throughout Mississauga on an “as needed, as required” basis, for a three (3) year term, with the option for the City to extend the term for up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods. Work may include a range of services, but is not limited to the following: I. debris or clothing bin removal Details on the scope of work are further described in Appendix C Statement of Work. |
