The project involve reconstructing various trail sites in various parks throughout the City. 

Without limiting the project scope, which is described in detail in the Contract Documents, the Work involves reconstructing of existing park trails that are at the end of their lifecycle. Services will include the grinding of existing asphalt, blending and placement of this material with new granular and paving with new asphalt to City standards.  Site work is considered complete when the paving/concrete if noted is complete AND full trail edge restoration with all construction debris off-site. Each site is to be considered each park trail location, as provided by the City.

Bidders must meet all the mandatory qualifications as set out below: 

• Be readily available to continuously undertake and maintain Contract requirements;
• Have a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience with paving operations, including ;
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the work and commitment to complete;
• Have relevant experience on projects of comparable size, scope and complexity as described in the Specifications;
• Have a proven track record (City of Mississauga experience and/or References) of providing Continuous Working Crews and meeting established project schedules;
• Have sufficient insurance from an insurer registered in Ontario, Canada;
• Have demonstrated a current Credit Rating, as reviewed/approved by the City;
• Have dedicated construction staff and demonstrated structure to properly administer the Contract (organization chart with staff names/roles);
• Have requisite equipment to meet the City's needs as described in this document; and
• Must own or have exclusive use (lease or long term rental) of the required equipment.
