The City of Mississauga (the “City”) invites Proposals from qualified architectural firms to be the Prime Consultant to undertake a comprehensive feasibility study at Small Arms Inspection North Building, located at 1352 Lakeshore Rd E, Mississauga, ON L5E 1E9, Mississauga ON. Through the process described in this RFP, the City will select a qualified architectural firm to act as the Prime Consultant, having total responsibility for all necessary sub-consulting services, including but not being limited to heritage expertise, engineering disciplines, building envelope design, building code expertise, life safety, abatement management, interior design, space planning, accessibility design, landscape design, and cost estimating, to provide full consulting services to carry out a comprehensive Feasibility Study of the Small Arms Inspection North Building and Bridge. This study will explore options to maximize and optimize the current facility square footage as well as review options for additional space requirements to meet the facility’s programming requirements. It is the intention of the City that the project complies with a minimum performance of Level 11 of the Corporate Green Building Standard, as per attachments. |
