The intent of this Request for Information (RFI) is to conduct general market research to determine the technology options available to the City of Mississauga (the City) for its municipal property tax management system, TXM Tax Manager (TXM). 

The City is determining the availability of other options to replace and modernize its TXM application and reviewing the current business model whereby the City is the supplier of the TXM application. 

This RFI is being conducted by the City and on behalf of the City’s client municipalities, the Cities of Brampton, Richmond Hill, Pickering, Markham, Vaughan and Oshawa and the Town of Newmarket.  Responses to this RFI will be shared with the client municipalities.  The results of the RFI will inform the City and client municipalities for their decisions on next steps.  This may result in a collaborative approach with the participating agencies, or each taking their own individual direction. 

The purpose of this RFI is to obtain information on suppliers and their products and services.  There is no purchase anticipated at this time.  This is an RFI for gathering information only and there may or may not be any further steps.  Information gathered and obtained during this process may be used to support future procurement(s).  

No award will be made based on this RFI; however, by submitting an information package, respondents may be kept informed of the progress of the project.
