Without limiting the project scope, which is described in detail in the Contract Documents, the Work involves the replacement of all existing built-up/mod-bit roof sections (27,000sqft /-) at the Malton Depot with new two-ply torch applied mod-bit roof system. All flashings along the parapet, wall upturns, and roof penetrations are to be replaced. Roof drain inserts are to be installed while interior piping shall be repaired/replacement. The roof sections contain a variety of roof penetrations, roof drains, mechanical units, and ducting that require sealing and flashing. The existing roof system contains hazardous materials and will require abatement. |
