The City of Mississauga (the “City”) is seeking detailed proposals from construction firms to provide complete construction management services for the Renovation and Expansion of Carmen Corbasson Community Centre located at 1399 Cawthra Rd., Mississauga ON. The estimated Gross Floor Area (GFA) for the project consists of a 45,500 sf addition to accommodate a new 25 m 6-lane pool, therapy pool, fitness centre and associated common and circulation space, and approximately 90,000 sf of existing space to be renovated (renovation does not include rinks). The total gross floor area of the building and the new addition is approximately 135,000 sqft. The services for the Pre-construction phase are anticipated to commence on July 13, 2020 or sooner, subject to issuance of a Purchase Order; the services for Construction phase are anticipated to start on April 4, 2022 with an anticipated Substantial Performance on October 30, 2023, and Post-construction services for 1 year warranty period, ending October 30, 2024. |
