The Corporation of the City of Mississauga (“the City”) is seeking the Services from qualified Suppliers to provide scheduled and on-demand boulevard grass cutting with litter picking and hard surface maintenance that will be assigned by ward across the City. The City has 11 wards, requiring twelve cuts and 5 hard surface clean-ups per year in accordance with a pre-determined schedule. In addition, the City may request the Suppliers provide on-demand work as required.

It is the City’s intent to award Contract(s) for the 2023-2026 seasons, with the Contract(s) ending in December 2026. 

To be considered for Contract award, Bidder(s) must demonstrate:

• Be readily available to undertake Contract requirements; 
• Have been in the business of landscaping turf maintenance for a minimum of the last five (5) years; 
• Have been operating under the same company name for at least the last five (5) years;
• Supervisory staff assigned to the City's Contract have a minimum of five (5) years' experience in landscaping and turf maintenance;
• They have relevant experience (with contracts of comparable size, scope and complexity) with a minimum of one municipal or public agency contract successfully completed (within the last three years); 
• Have  staff (including dedicated crews and administrative staff) and capacity to properly service and administer the Contract, with a minimum of five (5) full time staff, a minimum of one (1) supervisor and two ( 2 ) crew leads; and
• Health and Safety program in place.
