This Contract includes the construction of creek bank erosion control measures and stabilization along one section of Cooksville Creek: beginning at the Queen Elizabeth Way East crossing and extending approximately 620m downstream.  The work generally consists of the channel realignment of approximately 320m of Cooksville Creek, including construction of riffle and pool channel structures as well as various segments of armoustone wall and bank treatments. Excavating, backfilling, rock placement, channel bypass and dewatering, installation of bioengineered structures, grading, and landscaping are an integral part of the work.  The work is shown on the Contract Drawings
