The City of Mississauga (the “City”) is Canada’s sixth largest city and outpaces most other cities with its global connections, vibrant communities and aspirational vision for the future. The City has many opportunities to continue to evolve as a place where people choose to be.

The City is seeking a professional Video Production vendor to conceptualize and produce City brand promotional video(s) as well as other videos as required. 

The successful vendor will provide subject matter research, creative conceptualization, narrative storytelling techniques, scripting and storyboarding, videography, animation, music selection, editing and pre and post production.   The services may also include but are not limited to: capturing ‘B’ Roll; drone footage, editing of existing footage; creation of animations and or illustrations. Other videos required may include: promotional, service offerings, educational, training, and corporate among others.

The City intends to award the contract up to two (2) highest ranked bidders.  Services will be rendered on ‘as required basis’.  There is no guarantee of business or volumes as projects required over the term of the contract are not determined.

When a video project need arises, the City will contact the successful vendor(s) to provide a quotation.  The City in its sole discretion will select the best suited Vendor based on expertise, qualifications, experience, pricing, and timing to complete each project/assignment.

The videos and the components captured or created for the video will become the sole and exclusive property of the City.

The City reserves the right to revise/update, add or delete work during the contract period based on the City’s changing requirements and availability of newer technology, methods and practices as they become available.
