MiWay Transit (“MiWay”) is a Division in the City of Mississauga’s Transportation and Works Department. MiWay is responsible for on-street bus operations and ongoing maintenance with an annual ridership of 40 million riders. MiWay’s fleet consists of approximately 500 buses and 60 light duty vehicles. The City of Mississauga (the “City”) is issuing this Request for Tender (RFT) for the supply and delivery of batteries in accordance with the Specifications. The objective of this RFT is to select a Vendor than can provide the equipment in accordance with the City’s Specifications and who can demonstrate the appropriate skills, will, experience and ability to provide ongoing service and support as needed by the City. The award of the Contract (if any) will be made to the lowest acceptable Bidder in each line or in whole, based on the ultimate cost to the City. |
